Labor Day Celebration

FDL Lakeside Park
Oven Island  Entertainment: "The Real Deal Blues Band" 12:30 to 4:30 p.m.
This Event Is "Open To The Public"

Parade

Start point is Rees & Main Street in Fond du Lac at 11:00 a.m. but line-up starts at 10:00 a.m. The parade will go North down Main Street and end at Lakeside Park , where people can go right to Oven Island to start the Labor Day Celebration.Ther will be NO throwing of candy, but you may hand it out. Those interested in entering in the parade can contact Richard Sorenson at (920) 748-5732.

Betty Trent will be on Oven Island from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. to do free face painting for the kids.

There will be free kids rides too. The rides are sponsored by IAM Lodge 1947 Mercury Marine and American Income Life Insurance. The rides are the train, the merry-go-round and the roto whip. Those interested in getting tickets for the rides should pick them up on Oven Island first then go to the ride area.
